Looong Day (Whine Alert)

  • Mood: Yanked Around

Looong Day (Whine Alert)

It was one of those days it seemed like I was on the phone all day. And not just for fun chit-chat. I'm talking insurance company, the cable company and doctor's office.

I have a prescription for my ADD medicine that I have been trying to get filled since Nov. 1st! I was told I needed a letter of medical necessity from my doctor. It has now been faxed to them several times but the insurance company swore they did not get it. The good news is the Rx finally got approved today.

My second battle was with the cable company. On the 18th a repairman came out to replace the obsolete outside cables. He ran them differently and ruined our reception. Plus he was sloppy. We finally got to done right by another repairman. Supposedly an adjustor is supposed to come out and evaluate the damage to our overhang by the sloppy repairman. When I called to check on it today it was as if they had never heard about it. I know better.

The third call was to the public relations officer at the fire department. My middle son (age 9) developing into quite a firebug. I was able to convince them that this has been a ongoing problem and they are going to send someone over to talk to him. I hope it help. I know kids tend to listen to other adults more than their parents.

The last call was to the pediatrician regarding the above mentioned child. He has been on antibiotics almost two weeks and he is getting worse. Whenever he coughs he starts crying because his chest hurts and this is my tough child. He get bronchitis easily and has had pneumonia once. So I tend to be paranoid when the gets sick and take him to the doctor. I had hoped we had caught it and started the medicine early enough, but apparently not.

2 Feedback.
